I created this hand-bound journal using an African fabric for the covers. I call this journal, “Red Diamonds.” The yellow and red play well together, creating a bright and cheerful journal. The closure is black elastic, with a cowrie shell and a yellow tassel. The cowrie shell is a symbol of abundance and fertility.
